The power
of one.

A separate nonprofit campaign, linked from the practice’s original website.

Make a Difference Counseling’s website introduces Difference Makers of Hawaii and its campaign, “The Power of One.” The invitation is built around small acts of giving and sharing a wider message.

The campaign describes support for expanding mobile therapy-office capacity. For the current campaign details, fundraising purpose, and donation information, visit the organizer’s live page.

Donations go through the nonprofit’s campaign. They are separate from counseling appointments, clinical fees, and payment for care.

A HISTORY OF COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Small acts.
Lasting intention.

Heather’s public story has long included community service.

A 2014 MidWeek profile described food outreach on Oʻahu and volunteer activity in Bali, including beach cleanups and work with children. It provides a historical glimpse of her interest in showing up for people and responding creatively to community needs.

Her later public interview focuses on the mobile counseling model and bringing support closer to families. Together, these sources offer context for the community thread running through her work.
